Mr. Nabeel is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and a Chartered Accountant of Maldives (ACA) with over a decade of experience in audit, financial advisory, and corporate finance. His professional background includes senior roles at Deloitte and PwC, where he led major IFRS implementation projects and audit engagements for leading institutions such as the Maldives Islamic Bank and the Central Bank of Maldives.
Mr. Shimah is a seasoned financial strategist and investment leader with over 15 years of experience spanning banking, investment advisory, and corporate finance. He has managed and structured portfolios exceeding USD 500 million and previously held senior leadership roles at Habib Bank Limited, where he oversaw corporate banking liabilities, recoveries, and complex investment structuring mandates.
Mr. Fayaz is a highly accomplished technology leader with over 17 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and enterprise-level systems administration. His career spans technical leadership roles supporting mission-critical environments and implementing secure, scalable solutions for diversified corporate groups in the Maldives.
At TIS CapM Pvt Ltd, he serves as Associate Partner – Corporate Finance, leading financial modelling, transaction advisory, valuation analysis, and deal structuring. His technical expertise covers IFRS 9, 15, 16, and 17 implementation, audit management, and institutional due diligence. He also plays a key role in supporting optimizing financial reporting frameworks for client mandates.
Mr. Nabeel is also an Investment Advisor Representative licensed by the CMDA Maldives, enabling him to advise on securities, investment products, and capital-market transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
As CEO/CIO of TIS CapM Pvt Ltd, he provides strategic leadership across the firm’s investment philosophy, fund structuring, capital markets advisory, and asset-allocation frameworks. His core expertise includes liquidity and treasury management, capital optimization, project and real-asset finance, institutional engagement, and regulatory governance in alignment with CMDA standards.
He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and a Bachelor’s (Honors) in Business Administration from the University of East London (UK). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), a Technical Specialist of the Institute of Risk Management (UK), a Member of the International Compliance Association, and a licensed Investment Advisor Representative with the CMDA Maldives.
As CTO of TIS CapM Pvt Ltd, he leads the firm’s technology strategy, ensuring robust digital infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, and technology-driven enablement across investment management, advisory, and data-intelligence functions. He architecturally oversees systems that support operational resilience, secure data environments, and technology compliance frameworks essential for a modern capital-markets firm.
Mr. Fayaz previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Connex Information Technology Solutions, where he directed technology operations, built standardized methodologies, managed cross-functional engineering teams, and oversaw enterprise-wide deployments of network, virtualization, and server infrastructure. His experience includes end-to-end lifecycle management of large-scale IT environments, PCI-DSS compliant systems, next-generation firewalls, virtualization ecosystems (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), and cloud-native platforms. Earlier, he held senior IT administration roles at Cyprea Pvt Ltd, managing server environments, SQL databases, cybersecurity controls, and organization-wide network infrastructure.
